    I'd like to tell you about the political center of London.

   The political center of London is Westminster. There are a lot of offices there. The British Prime Minister lives at number 10 Downing Street. Whitehall is a wide street leading from Trafalgar Square to Parliament Square. This square is very large.
   Big Ben is a large clock in one of the towers of the Houses of Parliament. The Thames runs behind the Houses of Parliament. The bridge across (через) it is Westminster Bridge.
   Westminster Abbey is one of the most famous and beautiful churches in London. It is very old. Many Kings and queens are buried there. Westminster Abbey is famous fot its Poets' Corner. Many great writers are buried in it. The Queen of England lives in Buckingham Palace. In front of it there is a Queen Victoria Memorial.
